Friends Forever

This is a poem written by one of Koriah's good friends...

I love you gal, and always will
I know your feelings but love you still
If you need a friend, someone to care,
Just call my name, and I'll be there

For once in my life a girl came by
And started a love that will not die
I live in a world, I heard in a song
But for you and me, it is all wrong

I hope my deeds, in my simple way
Will tell you things I cannot say
We've talked it over and both agree
It will soon end for just you and me

But for the time just let me do
The little things I want for you
And when you say I'll go my way
Without a reason, why should I say?

So, find the man you're looking for
And maybe he can love you more
For if you're happy, I've done my share
But, always remember, I was there

In my heart I can always say
"I thank the Lord...she passed my way."
