I've made a lot of mistakes
That have gotten me to this place
Lines of past experiences
Are worn upon my face

But the biggest mistake yet
Has been losing you
And so it becomes my pain
My happy days are now few

Though my feelings were strong
That did not keep me from seeing the worst
Your neglect was
